Why is email marketing so effective?
Email marketing has 5X the response rate as direct mail. Plus, response is immediate. Email is typically acted on within the first 42 hours of sending it.

What is the best way to get started with email marketing?
The best way to get started is to build your list. Your list can be built in a number of ways depending on what type of organization you have. The Touchmailer system allows you to put a signup form on your website which will add the visitor to your list automatically when they register for your opt-in emails. Additionally, our email marketing pros will review other ways for you to grow your list quickly.

Where is my email list stored? Is it safe?
Yes! Absolutely! Your email contact information is stored in your secure space on our secure servers. No one will have access to your list except for you and our support teams who help you with your email marketing efforts. Your lists are never shared or sold to anyone!

Do I have to know html to build a branded graphical email?
No, with our custom designed HTML templates, you will be able to design great looking graphical emails without any HTML knowledge. Additionally, since your emails are custom designed for you, the emails will match your website colors and layout exactly so you won’t look like the other guys with their canned templates.

What is multipart/mime email?
Multipart email refers to the fact that our system allows you to build an email that can be read in graphical HTML format as well as plain text in the same email, and, depending on your recipient’s email device - computer, blackberry, etc. – your email will be rendered appropriately.
Multipart email is crucial to any email marketing solution.

What are bounces?
A bounce happens when your email doesn’t get to its destination ands it “bounces” back to our system. There are 2 types of bounces – hard bounces and soft bounces. A hard bounce happens when an email is sent to a bad email address. A soft bounce happens for temporary reasons such as the recipient’s email server is down, mailbox is full, or some other reason. In the case of a soft bounce, The Touchmailer system will continue to send the email message for 32 hours in hopes that the issue is rectified on the recipient’s end.
